Michael has been passionate about the Alexander Technique since he first had lessons in the mid 1980s.  While pursuing a career in the public service he continued to have lessons until he was able to fulfil his goal of becoming a teacher.  He was trained by Simon Fitzgibbon, Marietta Simarro Garcia and Christine Ackers at the Sydney City Alexander Technique school.  Michael is also a certified trainer in the Gyrotonic Expansion System® and Gyrokinesis® – exercise modalities that emphasise strength and flexibility.
