Alexander Technique Education

Alexander Technique Education Inc. (ATE) is a professional association founded in 2002 by a group of teachers of The Alexander Technique whose vision is to hand on the specific teaching method of Walter Carrington who trained with F M Alexander from 1936 to 1939.

An additional aim is to allow for more flexible training formats in order to enable young people to train as teachers, thereby promoting good use as a foundation for life-long prevention of common malfunction, ill-health and self-engendered injury.

Teacher-Trainers approved by ATE Inc. fulfil all accreditation criteria required by all Alexander Technique qualifying bodies world-wide.

ATE UK is a sister organisation based in the United Kingdom.
