Ron Murdock graduated from Mount Allison University, New Brunswick, Canada in 1962. (B.A.; A.Mus). He studied privately in Montreal with Bernard Diamant from 1962 to ‘66 and then had further private voice study in Switzerland with Prof. Frederick Husler and Yvonne Rodd-Marling in the years 1966-69. In 1969, after moving to London, England, he embarked on his career as a tenor singing opera, oratorio and giving concerts and recitals throughout the UK, Switzerland, Canada and Israel. He graduated from the Constructive Teaching Centre, London, UK in December 1979. In London he taught singing and the Alexander Technique until 1995 when he moved to Amsterdam. He gives workshops and master classes in most of the European Music Academies and Conservatories.Together with his wife, Nadia Kevan, he runs a training course where they live in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, for those wishing to become teachers of the Alexander Technique.
